IDUKKI ARCH DAM

With a height of 168.91 m and situated less than 6 km from the Igloo Heritage, the Idukki Dam is the third tallest arch dam.The dam makes its pictorial stand in the poetic River Periyar and supports a 780 MW hydroelectric power station. The architecture of Asia's first arch dam speaks of a concrete double curvature parabolic thin arc structure. Adjoined by two other dams in Cheruthoni and Kulamavu, the three beauty's have set up an artificial lake that extends by 60 sq. km area. Special boating activities case the dam and people float to the scape, probing the serenity of nature's gift. Indulge in the beautiful canopy of the dam while you float above serenity!

CHERUTHONI DAM

Cheruthoni Dam is one of the greatest engineering feats in history. The cheruthoni dam stands 138m high in the Idukki District of Kerala, India. The Idukki Hydroelectric Project and Kulamavu Hydroelectric Project were each built along with this dam. Across a narrow gorge between two granite hills, the Idukki Dam is constructed as a double curvature arch dam and idukki is the tallest double curve arch dam in Asia.

HILL VIEW PARK

There is a tranquil atmosphere created by the view of the Idukki reservoir's calm, blue waters, as well as the Idukki Wildlife Sanctuary. A remote area makes the Idukki reservoir safe. Anchuruli Tunnel

It is the catchment area for Idukki Arch Dam as well as an exceptional tourist attraction in Idukki. Known for its 5.5 km long circular tunnel, Ankuruli carries water from Erattayar Dam near Kattappana to Idukki reservoir. Known literally as "five ancient Dravidian vessels", the Anchuruli's geographic location matches its water-bedded surroundings.

Ramakkalmedu Windmill Farm

A large statue depicting Kerala and Tamil Nadu's Sangam landscape is located at Ramakkalmedu in idukki, a historic site that is home to the Monument to Kuravan and Kurathi. Panoramic views of Tamil Nadu towns and villages can be seen from the monument. Ramakalmedu is an enchanting retreat with rolling green hills and fresh mountain air. At dusk, when all these towns in Tamil Nadu are illuminated, the view is stunning.

Munnar

Munnar is formed by the merger of Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni, and Kundala, three mountain streams. Located in South India, 1,600 metres above sea level, this hill station was once a British summer resort. A beautiful environment, tea plantations, and winding streets make this place a popular tourist destination. Exotic flora like Neelakurinji grows in the forests here and on the grasslands. It blooms every twelve years, so the next bloom will be in 2030. Munnar holds the dubious distinction of being the highest mountain in South India with a height of 2,695 meters.

Thekkady, located on the border of Tamil Nadu and Kerala, is home to the Periyar Tiger Reserve, one of South India's most popular wildlife reserves.
